I was a Navy brat so I was born in New York and have lived in multiple places along the east coast until we settled in Aiken in 1996. I have been married since 2006 and we have 2 beautiful girls, Kelsey and Kayla. I am a certified radiographer and worked as an interventional radiologic technologist for 15 years at University and Trinity Hospital. I am a member at Cedar Creek Church where I volunteered in the nursery for 10 years and currently volunteer in Kidz Worship where we engage elementary students in the word of God through skits and fun activities. I enjoy playing softball with my church, reading, watching movies, traveling and spending time with my family and friends. I am looking forward to snuggling babies and having a great year at SAPK!

Jodi Clancey1K Teacher; [email protected]I grew up in beautiful rural New York State, and moved to Aiken after high school. I have nannied for 19 years, and am still working part-time for a local family, but joined the SAPK family as a substitute and Bible Friends staff before coming on fully as a teacher. Krystle Walton2K Teacher; [email protected]Hello! I was born and raised here in Aiken. My husband, Tim, and I have been married for five years. Together, we have five children: Liam, Alexis, Kadence, Makenzie, and Connor. I’ve always had a love for helping children learn, from shadowing elementary school teachers in high school and pursuing teaching in college. With my youngest attending SAPK, I looked to begin teaching here. In my spare time I like to ride my horse to clear my head, and also enjoy playing softball and visiting the lake with my family.

Mindy Hand2K Teacher; [email protected]My family and I have been blessed to live in Aiken for over twelve years. While living here, I have worked as a substitute teacher for Aiken County Public Schools, and I taught 4K for four years at SAPK. After a couple of years off to help renovate our son’s home, I am returning for a new adventure teaching in 2K. I have taught Pre- K and Elementary grades in six states before landing here in SC. I have my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, with an emphasis in Early Childhood development. I enjoy watching children gain confidence and master new skills. My family means the world to me. My husband Steve and I are now empty nesters as our son Charles now lives and works in Columbia, SC. We share our home with our sweet fur kids. Three dogs and four cats, and I am a foster parent to homeless kittens through the Aiken County Animal Shelter. I love to read, swim and travel with friends and family. I appreciate being a part of each child’s journey.

My husband Andy and I have been married since 1996. We moved our family of three to Aiken in 1998 from Tennessee. We became a part of the SAPK family in 2001 when we enrolled our eldest son in a 3k class. As our family grew to 7, each of our 5 children attended SAPK. Throughout the years my role at SAPK has changed many times. I have been a parent, a substitute, a Parent’s Day Out Worker, Kindergarten Aid, PTO Volunteer and now a 3K teacher. I have always enjoyed working with little ones and knew that this is where God wanted me to be. I cherish getting to be a part of your child’s early education and can’t wait for another great year at SAPK.
