Cissy Kelley
Assistant Director; cissyksapk@yahoo.com
I was born and raised here in Aiken. I have a strong Aiken family history dating back seven generations. At an early age, I discovered a love for working with children. I began working in the St. Thaddeus nursery at eleven years old and babysitting for countless families. In my teens, I was a ballet dancer with the Aiken Civic Ballet. After marrying and having my first two children, I worked backstage with the children for Crosby-Miller Dance Studio performances for almost thirty years. By far, my greatest accomplishment has been raising my children, Andrew, Jessica, Aaron, and Anthony Williamson. My oldest attended SAPK in 1992. All three followed and graduated kindergarten from SAPK. I joined the teaching staff at SAPK in 2022, working with babies. I then taught many ages through the years. I love my position as Assistant Director because I get to know each and every child and family that comes through these well-loved walls! I will have to brag about my grandbabies if you come visit me in my office! It may be a little obvious that I am in love with Maddox and James!!!

I have been SAPK's 3 Plus teacher since 2019. My family moved to Aiken in 2012 and we knew this beautiful city was where we belonged! I have three amazing children, all of which attended this amazing preschool. I attended the University of West Florida and received my bachelor of art. Did you know that before children can write they need to draw? I am an artist by trade and value creativity and individuality. I also enjoy intermingling art with science and creating fun and exciting STEAM activities throughout the year!

My husband Andy and I have been married since 1996. We moved our family of three to Aiken in 1998 from Tennessee. We became a part of the SAPK family in 2001 when we enrolled our eldest son in a 3k class. As our family grew to 7, each of our 5 children attended SAPK. Throughout the years my role at SAPK has changed many times. I have been a parent, a substitute, a Parent’s Day Out Worker, Kindergarten Aid, PTO Volunteer and now a 3K teacher. I have always enjoyed working with little ones and knew that this is where God wanted me to be. I cherish getting to be a part of your child’s early education and can’t wait for another great year at SAPK.
