Honduras Agape
Foundation

The Honduras Agape Foundation began as an outreach international ministry mission of South Aiken Presbyterian Church to Quimistan, Honduras, in response to the devastation suffered from Hurricane Mitch in 1999.

Over the years this mission effort has evolved into an ecumenical effort involving several churches. Up to five mission teams spend time each year in Quimistan manifesting the love of Jesus Christ by partnering with local community members in meeting the many needs of the area.

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) of the PCUSA enables congregations and mission partners of the Presbyterian Church (USA) to witness to the healing love of Christ through caring for communities adversely affected by crisis and catastrophic events.

PDA is the emergency and refugee program of the PCUSA. The core budget, including staff and administrative costs, is funded through the One Great Hour of Sharing, and its program work is additionally funded through designated gifts.

Sudan Ministry of Trinity Presbytery

Since September 1987, Trinity Presbytery has had an ongoing ministry in Sudan.  Its objectives:

• Developing a broader awareness and understanding of the experience of the church in Sudan and the Sudanese people.
• Expanding our involvement in international missions.
• Establishing a unifying effect within our Presbytery as we work together for a common cause.
• Spiritual renewal and growth as we seek to meet the spiritual and physical needs of the Sudanese in Sudan.
