Worship

South Aiken Presbyterian Church offers two weekly church services in our Sanctuary; the first beginning at 8:45 A.M. is a traditional service where the dress is casual and the second traditional and more formal service is at 11:00 A.M. each Sunday morning.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

Here in greater detail are some of the components of each worship service.  Volunteers are always wanted and accepted freely.

Music

Sanctuary Choir (11:00 AM Worship) rehearsals are each Wednesday 7:30 - 8:30 PM in the Choir Room located in the Family Life Center (F110).  To join our Sanctuary Choir, come out on Wednesday night.

The Early Service Choir (8:45 A.M. Worship) rehearses each Sunday morning from 8:10 to 8:35 A.M in the Sanctuary.  The dress is casual.  To join our Early Service Choir, arrive at the church on any Sunday at 8:10 A.M.

Sound System

Sound Board

The sound system control board is staffed for each service by volunteers.  If you have a penchant for sound, we could use your talents.  Or if you think you would like to try it, we can train you.

Ushers and Greeters

Our list of volunteer ushers and greeters is put together each month.  When you get the call, please say "Yes!"

Communion

Communion is normally celebrated the first Sunday of February, April, June, August, October, December and on December 24th.  If you would like to assist in the preparation and setup of the elements, contact Jenny Chase.

Kirkin' of the Tartans

It's a special annual service at South Aiken.  Click here to read more about the Tartan Project.
