In celebration of Mother’s day, I found some books from our church library that might be of interest to moms and families.
Mom’s Everything Book for Daughters by Becky Freeman shares a selection of fun, usable and thoughtful ways to connect to daughters as you both face issues that concern her.
The Mother’s Voice: Strengthening Intimacy in Families by Kathy Weingarten shares the author’s knowledge and personal experience in communicating intimate issues with family and the importance of being honest and open.
Especially for a Woman by Edith Schaeffer, Liz Higgs, Florence Littauer, Grace Ketterman, Ruth Peale, Beverly LaHaye, Claudia Arp, Linda Dillow, Jan Stoop, Stormie Omartian, and Deborah Newman is a collection of writings that will “help you know, love, heal and connect…….. to become all that God created you to become.” It offers encouragement, support and practical advice for the important issues in a woman’s life.
