The Honduras Agape Foundation began as an outreach foreign ministry mission of South Aiken Presbyterian Church to Quimistan, Honduras, in response to the devastation suffered from Hurricane Mitch in 1999. Over the years this mission effort has evolved into an ecumenical effort involving several churches,with up to five mission teams spending time each year in Quimistan manifesting the love of Jesus Christ by partnering with local community members in meeting the many needs of that area.
