South Aiken Presbyterian Church (USA), a congregation today of over 830, was formed in 1955 as a growth effort of First Presbyterian Church of Aiken. With just over 20 families, church services were held in the Sanctuary (located to the far right in the above picture) which now serves as our Fellowship Hall. In later years, a wing and a new Sanctuary were added. Our newest addition is a two story Family Life Center located behind the Sanctuary. Our Family Life Center houses a conference room, practice rooms for our choirs and handbells, a full kitchen, a gym and many class rooms for our Sunday School and youth programs. Our value is not in the buildings created but in our growth as a congregation of people together in worship, education and outreach to the glory of God.
