Area Churches Together Serving (ACTS)... is a consortium of some 53 churches throughout Aiken County for the purpose of providing an organized single source of emergency assistance in food, clothing, utilities and basic home furnishings (beds, tables, chairs, kitchen items, etc.) to those in need. The ACTS building is located on Park Avenue. Help is needed in all areas. They will take as little or as much time as you can donate. Several of our members donate time to ACTS each week and work in the areas of receiving donated food and clothing, sorting clothes and packaging foodstuffs. If you have a pickup truck, they can use your help picking up donated furniture and bedding.
